Protagonists

Thisbe

Pyramus

       Handsome youth of Babylon who falls in love with Thisbe. He likes his village and his family dearly, most especially Thisbe. He had a problem with his love life, he was unable to see Thisbe. His parents opposes the marriage of Pyramus and Thisbe. They only talked through a small crack in the wall. They only saw each on the Tomb of Ninus, but it was tragic because when Thisbe saw Pyramus,he was already dead.

       He was the most talented musician in his town. His skill was comparable to the Gods.  His parents  was one of the Muses, that has a peaceful voice, and a Thracian prince. He is a loving person because he did anything for his wife, Euridyce. He is also wise because he was known for being a prophet.

          He was devastated because just after the wedding, his wife died from the bite of the viper. He tried to retrieve the soul of his wife from the Underworld but failed. 


Alcyone


Alcyone
      She was the daughter of Aeolus, King of the Winds. Her husband is Ceyx, whom she dearly loved. Alycone did not want him to travel to the ocean, she cried and pleaded to Ceyx not to go, but he still went to travel. She was a caring person because she still made cloaks for him. When she slept, she had a terrible dream of Ceyx, that he was drowning.

          Knowing that her husband is dead, she tried to dive into the ocean to drown with her loved one, but instead, she flied to the sky. Ceyx also turned into a bird. They flew together and lived loving together forever. She dearly loved Ceyx, following him till the end. 






Pygmalion

Pygmalion
     Lives in Cyprus. A talented sculptor who hates women. He was working on a woman statue. He was not contented with his work. He kept on working on the statue, until it was the perfect statue he made. He fell in love with his statue. Even though the statue is an object, he still treated it as a real women, but everything he did not have a response.

      He was an eager person, doing anything for the statue even if it did not respond. Venus helped him, she gave life to his statue. Pygmalion was happy because when he caressed her, she stared back.
